I’ve had the joy of serving in ministry alongside Dan and Sharon Menard for several years now, and I honestly don’t know what I’d do without them—especially Dan. He started attending Encore events not long after I became involved, and little by little, he stepped in to help, always offering to serve wherever he could.
Dan’s a technology guy; he thrives on organization and details. He tracks attendance, stays in touch with our shut-ins, and keeps up to date on their medical conditions and needs. If someone’s new or missing, Dan likely knows and follows up. He doesn’t just keep records—he builds relationships.
Sharon is right there with him. She supports Dan every step of the way and contributes greatly to the women’s ministry, Haven of Rest outreach, and weekly Bible studies. They’re a team in every sense of the word.
What sets Dan apart is how deeply his faith shapes his service. He doesn’t just listen to the Word—he lives it. Whether it’s leading a Bible study, ushering, writing newsletters, or coordinating the tiniest logistics for Encore events, Dan is dependable, thoughtful, and proactive. He sees a need and steps up without hesitation.
I’m more of a big-picture kind of guy, and Dan’s attention to detail has made us a good pair. He keeps me grounded and always one step ahead. I’m thankful for his friendship, dedication, and example. Truly, he’s a man of God who leads by doing.
